When exercise🤸🏻♂️ physical activity🏃🏻♀️ or movement💃🏻 - whatever we wish to call it- is tied to unhealthy judgment, it will hinder enjoyment 😞
For example, the minute we engage in movement as a way only to control weight and to earn food, it can feel like a defeating experience overtime.
After all, our weight is not only dependent on food and exercise, it can change due to many other reasons 📄
If movement is tied to ED perfectionism it will create feelings of inadequacy and shame eventually🙍🏻
Taking a break from movement is okay, and when you’re ready we can rediscover play again through movement.
This time on your own terms, not the ED’s.
