Client Quote #4: Meal Support Relief

I know it’s nerve wrecking when recovery forces you to eat. It’s understand to feel like your autonomy is taken away and feels unfair that you no longer have a choice. When we advise caregivers to provide meal support, we do that because we want to take that pressure off of you, so you don’t have to make every little decisions about food. Because we know every decision is a burden and a conflict between you and the ED.

If it helps, you can even let your ED know at the beginning of all of this- that it’s not your fault you’re eating! You simply don’t have a choice 🤷🏻‍♀️
